Flash Fiction is a pop-up temporary tattoo studio serving up smiles. All of the experience of a genuine tattoo shop with none of the needles.

Stop by and pick out a design from the flash sheet to get your own real deal (temporary) tattoo. Celebrating the playful side of self-expression and tattoo culture.

Katie Barron is a multi-disciplinary artist creating work celebrating joy and play. She won the Henry Jones Art Award in 2023 and was selected as Artist in Residence for the 2024 Cossack Art Awards.

Flash Fiction is a participatory artwork that mimics the experience of getting a tattoo. A form of pretend play for all ages, Flash Fiction allows everyone to share in the creative world of tattoo culture and experience the process of tattooing without the needles and permanence of  a genuine tattoo.
