A fun, confidence-building singing workshop taught by Sugar Blue Burlesque's Cece Desist,  where participants learn the basics of vocal technique, breathing, and projection, and how to perform a song with personality and presence. 

We’ll finish by learning and performing a short, upbeat group number together (something simple and joyful, like a classic show tune or cabaret favourite).

Participants will gain confidence using their voices, learn simple warm-ups and singing techniques, and discover how to express themselves and project confidence on stage

About Cece Desist: 

She's Perth's campy cabaret crooner, the cinched songstress herself, Cece Desist!  Dubbed a “Cabaret legend” by The Urban List (2021), Cece is known for her musical theatre influence and signature drag-infused old-Hollywood glamour, Cece is a live singing, sparkly showgirl with an extensive background in the performing arts. She attended The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts where she trained as a contemporary singer, and has enjoyed such career highlights as touring with the Perth International Burlesque Festival regional roadshow in 2020, and debuting her first solo production "Cece Desist's Extraordinary Playlist" with a live showband to a full house in 2021.
