Celebrate the opening of the Our Lens, Our Town exhibition, with a Welcome to Country at 6pm, MC Damian Callinan, and live entertainment by a WA Opera pianist.

Our Lens, Our Town invites the community to share their unique view of life in Karratha and the Pilbara. As part of the REAF exhibition in Karratha, disposable cameras were placed in the hands of local residents, empowering them to capture the moments, places, and people that reflect the strength, resilience, and spirit of our region.

This exhibition celebrates the beauty of everyday life through many different perspectives. From quiet landscapes to lively gatherings, each photograph offers an honest and personal glimpse into what makes our community special. Together, these images form a collective portrait, one shaped not by a single artist, but by the shared creativity and lived experiences of the people who call this place home.

Our Lens, Our Town is a testament to connection, belonging, and the powerful stories that emerge when a community turns the camera toward itself.
